we had a fantastic 4hr sunset cruise with Shikara Alleppey we was the Two person advance booked so we had a private guiding experience through the villages in the Allepey backwaters for only 2400 rupees. my guide was lovely and had very good English to explain everything we saw on the way. We had some short breaks to break up the 4hrs of paddle if and coconut, tea/coffee & snacks and a taster of a Toddy drink I would highly highly recommend this trip!!

Fantastic experience we took Sunrise Shikara Boat trip with Alleppey Shikara Boat it was amazing the Shikara Boat routes we took were all incredible really we saw small canals and full of village life. We were stopped for a delicious lunch at a restaurant.We could enjoy the local village life of backwater area.Our Sunrise Shikara long trip was a grateful experience in our journey.

I would totally recommend the experience of Alleppey Shikara Boat across the Alleppey Backwaters through Shikara Alleppey The whole experience first starts with a Jetty ride to the Village from where the ride starts. Before that, you have your breakfast at a local's place. The whole Shikara Alleppey 3 hours and then there is a pitstop for snacks. After the ride finishes, you get to experience the local cuisine and finally you are dropped back to main town via Jetty Ride. Some of the other good aspects are - Shikara Ride can go through narrow channels which Big Boats can't go through Supports livelihood of locals Very calm and peaceful It cost me 1800 bucks which I felt was worth this whole experience. I also went for an Early Morning Sunrise Shikara through them and the experience was really beautiful. The whole activity lasted for 3 hours and we witnessed beautiful backwaters of Allepey. The Guide were nice and professional.

Favourite part, was our Amazing guide Shikara Alleppey! We did a four & a half am sunrise Shikara Alleppey morning trip which ended 9 am as we were a bit slower but Guide patiently waited & made sure we were having an Amazing time, also love the fact he played chilled beats & showed us all the local wildlife & got to see the locals via the back water ways. Couldn’t fault anything, would definitely recommend to everyone one of our best excursions in India so far!
